Adult Dog Training Classes

Missed classes? Need help with the basics? Let’s get your dog back on track.

Missed early classes? Adopted a new rescue? Or simply want to strengthen recall and lead walking with your adult dog? Emma’s Adult Dog Training Classes are designed to build confidence, communication, and calm, well-mannered dogs.

Emma’s training courses are highly rated by local vets and clients alike, with glowing feedback from participants both in-person and online. Each class is practical, fun, and set in a positive learning environment — perfect for dogs and owners alike.

Using only kind, fair and effective methods, Emma incorporates clicker training to help you develop a strong bond and lifelong partnership with your dog.

Classes are small — just four dogs per group — ensuring you receive personalised attention and expert tuition. Sessions are usually held outdoors in a secure, natural space, but during poor weather, training moves indoors to a heated hall for comfort and consistency.

Eligibility: Dogs over 6 months old who are fully vaccinated and non-reactive to other dogs or people. Classes take place in Oldland Common (BS30).

Spaces fill quickly — please get in touch to check availability and reserve your spot early!
